Designer:
Antonio Miró
The intention of Antonio Miró, when he created this lamp, was to seek the basic essence of light, based on the idea of the torches which our forefathers used to brighten their existence – a post fixed in the ground which was used to illuminate outdoor areas and could be pointed in the direction required.
The Duna has a special ball and socket joint, which makes it a flexible and extremely useful lamp. Rotating through 360º, it can be pointed in any direction. Conceived for outdoor illumination, its flowerpot-style base is filled with sand which gives it a style particularly suited to gardens and terraces. The metacrylate shade is available in white or red with a white interior.
