Coro Italia's establishment took place in the end of the year 2002. With it Coro
wanted to assure a place for itself in the weak-developed outdoor furniture market.
The first collection, which was designed by Stefano Gallizioli, was a complete
concept that ranged from a chair to a grill. The used materials are the results
of systematic research which was and still is focussed on quality and solidity.
Coros products are very durable and high in quality. Over the last years
Coros collections have constantly been expanded and enriched with new products
designed by young designers. Coro has 80 showrooms in Italy and 260 others all over the world. Coros
production is based on advanced technologies and the careful selection of raw
materials. Nowadays Coro creates collections that are appropriate for indoor use
as well, although Coro was originally specialised in creating outdoor furniture.
Coro is very customer-oriented and offers special contract solutions as well as
tailor-made proposals. According to Coro they have all qualities that are necessary
for an existence in the furniture market like resources, energy and market awareness.
As a small company with professional management and staff, it is Coro's objective
to satisfy the wishes and needs of its customers. Probably the most famous external
designer that Coro worked with is James Irvine. This furniture designer, who was
born in London in the year 1958, even worked with international admitted companies
like B&B Italia, Magis, Mercedes Benz or Canon. He created for example the
ZETA collection for Coro. One piece from this collection is the collapsible table
whose ingenious simplicity is fantastic. The products AM, Loop or Shot also enjoy great popularity. One name that is inescapable
connected with Coro is Stefano Gallizioli who started with the coordination and
creation of the label Coro in 2001.
