B-Lines career started in the year 1999. Since then the base motivation of the B-Line Team, whose average age is 35 years, has been the unconditional love for design. It is their aim to make a small and original piece of sociocultural heritage of design of the last forty years accessible to the people. B-Line creates furniture pieces for apartments, offices as well as for public areas that are characterised by a very high design demand.
B-Line exclusively produces in Italy but distributes its products in 35 countries which are spread over all five continents. Originality, passion and variety are three nouns that B-Line uses to describe itself.
The multisided use of the materials is as characteristic for B-Line as the various production processes. By mixing wood, steel, leather and plastic B-line succeeds to activate two of our senses, the seeing and the feeling.
B-Lines products are very high in quality and have a great individual design. Particularly worthy to mention are the B-Line products Boby and Spinny. Both products have been designed from the famous designer Joe Colombo who died when he was only 41 years old in the year 1971.

Joe Colombo was born in Milan in 1930. Before he attended to design, he gained experience as painter, in building industry, as car dealer and even as employer in the electric sector. In 1963 Joe Colombo finally discovered his love for design and established his first studio in Milan. Two years before his death three of Joe Colombos creations were taken over by the MOMA for its enduring collection. B-Lines Boby and Spinny have developed to absolute design classics that enjoy great popularity not only because they have a great individual design but also because of their functionality.
