ANTA

The company ANTA has been creating lamps for private use for over 25 years. In cooperation with many different designers, they produce high-quality lamps of sleek elegance. Well-known as well as unknown designers deliver designs, which go on to be mass produced and sold internationally. The following will introduce some of the designers who have worked or are working for ANTA together with their ANTA-lamps. Jürg Fontana, born in 1967, completed his training as a draughtsman, before studying architecture at the Technikum in Winterthur from 1988 to 1992. Since 1998 he is a free-lance lamp designer. His wall and ceiling lamp SINO can produce direct and diffused light and is equipped with a fluorescent tube ring. Torsten Neeland lives and works as a designer in London. He designs shops, exhibition stands and interiors. Amongst others, he also works for Donna Karan, WMF and Babylon. His standing lamp series CUT distinguishes itself with a variety of heights. The lamp shades are made of porcelain. The lamps are available in the online-shop, optionally with touch dimmer or dimmable transformer. Klaus Nolting and Andreas Ostwald, both born in 1964 have degrees in industrial building and product design. Since 1996 their designs have gone to DB AG, BenQ and Motorola. Their lamps SPOON and BELLE are made only of a lamp body, made of porcelain. Daniel Kübler was born in 1965 and trained as an architectural and industrial model maker. In Zürich he completed his studies of interior architecture and product design. He worked in this profession for a few years, before founding the company Kübler Produkt-und Raumgestaltung. The stainless steel matted reading light ESTO makes an impression with its mobility on a black matt base plate. Peter Maly is one of Germanys most successful designers. He has been prized with numerous national and international awards. His designs reflect his need for clear shapes, functionality, longevity and the love for his work. SCREEN and LUDWIGSBURG are already classics of modern light design. Frank Oehring is a painter, sculptor and designer in Berlin. Many of his light objects, sculptures and wall reliefs decorate public objects such as the ICC in Berlin. The lamps ZAC with their movable light heads can be turned in almost every direction and make an impression with their geometrical shapes made of brushed steel. Britta Bottenbruch
